A piece which is both entertaining to play and challenging to get inside.

This is part of my entry for the 2006 SAMRO Overseas Bursary Competition, together with Rumba Caliente and Slipped on a clean Hippy. This is an exciting synthesis of South African music styles,
particularly traditional Xhosa, Kwela and some South African modern jazz harmonies. The traditional sections have a tribal quality, giving lots of scope to the piano solo, and the kwela and jazz sections make for some very interesting playing and listening. Because of its overal feeling of movement from beginning to end, this is an excellent piece for gig repertoire.
